These terms apply to the cross-border network acceleration and related subscription services provided by 40VPN. By visiting the website, creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use the service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, stop using the relevant services.
Service Content and Scope
40VPN provides network acceleration across 120+ countries and 210+ routes, with support for Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. The service is intended to improve network performance for cross-border access, international websites, and international routes. Available routes, entry points, and client features may change based on network conditions, device systems, and service maintenance.
The service provides the traffic allowance and validity period shown in the account plan. Monthly subscription traffic resets each month from the activation date, and the price difference for an upgrade is calculated against the remaining days. Traffic packages remain valid until used and never expire. Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported payment methods; actual options depend on what is shown at checkout.
Account and Subscription Rules
No email address is required to register; a username and password are sufficient. Users must protect their login credentials and are responsible for connections, plan selections, and ticket activity under their account. If credentials are exposed or unusual activity is detected, change the password promptly and submit a ticket through the user panel.
Subscriptions support use on any number of devices, meaning the account holder may connect devices under their management. This does not permit public sharing, rental, resale, or repackaging the account as part of another service. Users may not distribute subscription details in bulk or provide account access commercially to unrelated people. The account holder is responsible for traffic usage, account irregularities, or interruptions caused by voluntarily sharing credentials.
Lawful Use Requirements
Users must comply with the laws and regulations applicable where they are located and where the service is accessed, and are responsible for their own conduct. The service must not be used to infringe the lawful rights of others, access systems without authorization, distribute malware, commit fraud, disrupt network facilities, send abusive content, or engage in other unlawful activities.
Users must not continuously occupy route resources through automation, attack, probe, or damage 40VPN websites, clients, routes, or related infrastructure, or attempt to evade plan traffic, permissions, or account controls. To protect overall route quality, 40VPN may review clearly abnormal connection behavior and require the relevant account to stop improper use.
Service Availability and Liability
Cross-border network connections can be affected by the user’s local network, device configuration, target service policies, international links, system maintenance, and other external factors. 40VPN will maintain its routes and clients, but does not guarantee that any route, region, or third-party service will perform consistently at all times or in every network environment.
Maintenance, route changes, or external network conditions may cause brief interruptions. Users should retain necessary data copies and alternative connection arrangements for their actual needs. To the extent permitted by applicable law, 40VPN is not liable for indirect losses caused by user device failures, incorrect configurations, changes to third-party services, uncontrollable network events, or use that violates these terms.
Refunds and Account Termination
A full refund may be requested without giving a reason within 60 days of the first payment. Refund requests can be submitted through a user panel ticket. When processing involves a payment channel, the applicable process supported by that channel will be followed.
If an account is used for unlawful purposes, subscription resale, public credential sharing, attacks on service facilities, disruption of other users’ normal access, or continued violations of these terms, 40VPN may restrict features, suspend connections, or terminate the account. For correctable unusual behavior, the service may first ask the user to stop the relevant activity; where there is a security risk, clear abuse, or a legal requirement, necessary action may be taken immediately.
Changes and Issue Resolution
40VPN may update these terms to reflect service changes, legal requirements, or operating rules. Updated content will be posted on this page and the last-updated date will be changed accordingly. Material changes affecting user rights or usage rules will be announced on the website or through the user panel. Continued use after an update means that the user accepts the revised content.
For questions about plans, account status, refund requests, or these terms, log in to the user panel and submit a ticket. Both parties should first resolve disputes by reviewing clear records and the necessary information; if no agreement can be reached, the matter will be handled under applicable law.
